3D Motion Graphics

All Items Free

My goal was to experiment with 3D motion graphics in Blender. I started by building the geometry nodes and getting the initial clay animation working.

Geometry Nodes Setup

My first render was too fast, with issues around polygons and the grease pencil. I explored different fonts, but it didn't go well. V0 featured, but the bridge transition from the header to the banner changed too quickly. I wanted a transparent integration instead.

In V1, I improved the lighting and removed the background from the Swish header to let the 3D graphics act as the native background. However, "All Items Free" didn't make business sense for a delivery app, so I iterated to V2: Free Delivery Today.

Here is the final view of how it looks on the phone. Because the setup is entirely procedural using Geometry Nodes, I can type any word and the 3D graphics adapt dynamically.
